about

A mesh of pop-punk and alternative rock, with a little blend of an 80s sound, "LIVING AS I GO" is an energetic and upbeat song that delves on the challenges of facing your day-to-day problems.

Written initially on an acoustic guitar, it was then arranged by the band as a whole with influences such as blink-182, The Killers and modern pop music, to match the image that Zebra Libra presents: a young, jovial and rebellious vibe.

"LIVING AS I GO" relates the struggles of the narrator as he goes through life, while having his bad and good moments, and realizing that life is full of uncertainties and that being "normal" is sometimes all that we can hope for.

We're all living as we go.

lyrics

I've been living around
Around I go
Waking up for the unknown

I'm trapped in a room
In my head
I can't escape or sleep instead

I know, I know, I know
I can't escape or sleep instead

I know, I know, I know
I can't escape or sleep
Instead I'm trying, sad but smiling

I say that
Life gets in the way and
It sucks to be "okay"
All I want is a regular day
Maybe have a wife and kids some day and
The middle age cliché then
I'll be home on Christmas Day
I can't believe that I'm singing again
About you and me and how it ends

It's been a tough few months
Maybe a tough few years
Just try to hang out back
And knock a couple beers

I've had a few good times
Hanging out with my friends
I prayed to God last night
I wish it never ends

Instead I'm trying, sad but smiling

I say that
Life gets in the way and
It sucks to be "okay"
All I want is a regular day
Maybe have a wife and kids some day and
The middle age cliché then
I'll be home on Christmas Day
I can't believe that I'm singing again
About you and me and how it ends

I say that
Life gets in the way and
It sucks to be "okay"
All I want is a regular day
Maybe have a wife and kids some day and
The middle age cliché then
I'll be home on Christmas Day
I can't believe that I'm singing again
About you and me and how it ends
